Pollen Viability and Germination Levels with Amount of Pollen Production of Some Important Olive Cultivars in Türkiye

This research was carried out to determine the pollination abilities of Domat, Gemlik and Sarı Ulak olive cultivars. Pollen viability rate, germination rate amount pollen production were examined during periods when 25%, 50% 75% flowers opened. According results obtained from three years’ experimental study, highest percentages found in (81.51%) Domat (81.50%), whereas cultivar (77.41%) showed lowest viability. In percentages, values on basis cultivars determined 59.85% (Domat), 59.74% (Gemlik) 52.12% (Sarı Ulak). The a flower (329,046) while it followed by (319,693) (306,385). Despite high cultivar, rates be low. cultivars, all relatively near. addition, had been noted that related viability, higher flowering than 25%.
